Gods given time!

Sure do miss this man i called Daddy. He never ever raised his voice to me. He was kind, gentle and calm in all he did. He was wise, and intelligent. He was also so funny. Even when he had a massive brain hemorrhage he could still figure out problems and solve math and other educational type questions even when the rest of us were sitting there discussing among ourselves. Suddenly he would just pop out with the answer. I’m so blessed to have called him Daddy. So blessed for his loving, kind and caring Christian example. Such a scholar in all things. Always a servant to everyone. I am so amazed and in awe of all he did. I have no idea how they squeezed a lifetime of service, book reading, education through study and education through teaching and still had time for family and work. To he and mom, family always came first. He taught me mind control, how to use a manuel printing press. Coached softball and football, made science fair projects with me and attended every single piano recital whether I was performing or teaching. Then on top of that, he attended accompanying performances as well. If only I could just give him a hug and a kiss and tell him how much he was so so appreciated. I will never forget his voice in my last conversation with him and his words “I love you too.” No special day today. I just miss him. Hug, call, kiss your family. Although we get a fresh new start for our lives each and every day to try again and be forgiven... we also never know, when we wake up if the day will be our last. God blessed us so so much by allowing us extra time with both parents. He knew we needed it. Even with extra time and knowing that you are full well into the gift of extra time, it’s just never enough. Live everyday as if it were your last. Love each day holding Gods hand. And when that is too hard, just lay and pray and allow God to hold you in his hand. Feel his strength flow through you and allow yourself to be filled with his peace.
